9 Months (only a few weeks late)

It's hard to believe a year ago I was going to weekly sonograms and doctor visits to watch Miss Natalie grow inside me.  She had her own personality and cooperated maybe 25% of the time!  Now, that I've had 9 months to bond with her, it's been fun watching her little personality mesh with the world around her.  She is the happiest baby I know and smiles at EVERYTHING!  We went to the doctor last week and she is weighing in at 20 lbs. 2 oz.  I know, I know, I am shocked too!  She really is a Hurt and I'm confident she will thin out.  I'm just happy that she hopefully won't lose weight like her sissy did!  So, here's to my Natalie-Happy 9 months, almost 10 months.  Mommy and Daddy love you to the moon and back!

About Natalie:
*All toys, especially balls
*FOOD (we introduced cheese, blueberries and pasta this month)
*She's scooting, not crawling
*She loves to JUMP
*She loves to giggle
*8 teeth
*Loves her Bubby, Sissy, Cole-Cole (he puts up with her pulling his tail) and Cousin Gracie

And I'm happy to report that she is still nursing (this is the longest I've been able to nurse my babies.  My milk dried up with Kyle at 4 months and I had to quit nursing Kianna at 7 months because she had a milk protein allergy).

Describing....

Kianna, Kiki, Kia, or Key is fun!  When I think about everything she's been through, I am just thankful she's a healthy little 3 year old that is full of life.  You can find her playing with princesses, gracefully dancing in an open area, or running to keep up with others.  In a lot of ways, she is a spitten image of my sister.  She is content to be around others, but loves to entertain herself.  I love watching her explore the world!

Childlike Faith

There is something about going to Church and Sunday School every Sunday with kids.  It's been exciting to watch my kids learn about Jesus each week and transfer their knowledge to our devotions.  I hope they always keep their "child-like" faith and never question God's plan for them.  Here are Kyle and Kia singing at Sunday School opening.  

Happy Valentine's Day (2014)

Now, that the holidays are over I sometimes miss looking at toys and seeing what the kids enjoy.  Since Kyle's birthday is in September and Kia's birthday is in November, we buy most of our toys later in the year.  I decided that I would buy the kids something more than chocolate and candy for Valentine's Day this year.  We hope your Valentine's Day is filled with lots of love and maybe some chocolate!  :)

Snow Day Fun

I would be lying if I told you that as I teacher, I hate snow days!  I actually LOVE them and used to do every dance and wear every item of clothing for snow days. What I dislike is having to make them up in May.  Whatever happened to building the snow days in the calendar and giving us a true summer vacation?  Oh wait....kids aren't allowed

to be kids anymore.  Ok, stepping off my soapbox!  Here are some pictures of the kids enjoying our snow day.
